Andrew Amiel
Andrew is currently an Associate at Landmark Ventures focused on the Life Sciences sector where he advises clients on mergers & acquisitions, private placements and fund placements. Prior to joining Landmark, Andrew founded and was a Managing Partner of Lamiel Partners where he worked with Life Science and Clean Technology companies aiding them in raising funds and forming strategic alliances with relevant counter parties. He also worked with the Chinese Government sourcing potential Clean Technology companies and bringing them into the Chinese market. Andrew started his career in London working at Go4Venture, a boutique Investment Bank, focused on fundraisings and M&A for European Companies in the TMT sector. He has also worked in an intern capacity at BNP Paribas (Lon) as part of the FIG team, Alegro Capital (Lon), Messier Partners (NY), Merrill Lynch (NY) as a Financial Advisor, Laidlaw & Co (NY) as a Stock Broker, Elite Property Group (NY) Associate/Analyst, Stars & Stripes (Belgium/China) - selling and distributing diamonds to clients worldwide. Andrew graduated from the NYU Stem School of Business with a double major in International Business and Finance, and speaks 6 languages (English, French, Hebrew, Dutch, Spanish and Italian).

Janine Arnone-Rivera
Janine Arnone-Rivera joined the Landmark team in 2003 as a seasoned Executive Administrator specializing in customer service, office management and administration, finance and marketing. Highlights of her professional history include training at Morgan Guaranty and Trust Company in the credit department and then moving on to managing and successfully recovering over $1 million in overdue debts written off for The Royal Bank of Canada. Janine has worked for the Managing Director and the analyst team at Lehman Brothers focusing on research for asset-backed securities and aircraft securitization deals. She has been Series 7 trained and was the Treasurer of the Lepercq-Istel Mutual Fund while working at Lepercq De Neuflize. She worked as an account coordinator to manage stock, bond and mutual fund portfolios for high net worth clientele. On the marketing side, Janine is the recipient of the Presidential award from the nonprofit organization Insurance Services Office. During her tenure she worked on a special task force for the implementation of a new branch office and was on the sales and marketing team focused on client acquisition, marketing literature and assisted the technical team with the logistics of product development and implementation to the customer site.

Doron Birger
Doron Birger is a Managing Director at Landmark Ventures, and CEO of Landmark Ventures Israel. Previously, from 2002 until 2009, Doron served as President and CEO of Elron Electronic Industries [NASDAQ / TASE: ELRON], one of Israel's leading high tech groups. He also served as Chief Financial Officer of Elron from 1994 to 2002, and Corporate Secretary from 1994 to 2001. Doron is currently an active Chairman of the Boards of BioCep, MST, CheckLight, SightEra and GeoEnergy, and a Board Member of Given Imaging [NASDAQ / TASE: GIVN] and Medingo. Doron has been a Director or Chairman of the Board of Directors of many publically and privately held companies in the fields of semiconductors, medical devices and communication including Given Imaging (chairman of the board from 2002 until 2007), Elbit Systems [NASDAQ / TASE: ESLT], Galil Medical, RDC, NetVision [TASE: NTSN], Teledata, AMT, Starling [TASE: STLG], Wavion, Jordan Valley, AqWise, Brainsgate, Nulens and Pocared. From 1991 to 1994, Doron was Vice President-Finance at North Hills Electronics Ltd., an advanced electronics company. From 1990 to 1991 he served as CFO of Middle-East Pipes Ltd. From 1988 to 1990, Doron served as Chief Financial Officer of Maquette Ltd., a manufacturer and exporter of fashion items, and from 1981 to 1988 he was Chief Financial Officer and Director at Bateman Engineering Ltd. and I.D.C. Industrial Development Company Ltd. From 1979 to 1981, Doron was the Chief Financial Officer of Fibronics Ltd. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Paul Bodine
Paul is a seasoned executive having worked with a variety of companies from entrepreneurial startups to Fortune 500 corporations. His background includes responsibilities as the President of Argend Business Services, an integrated marketing firm specializing in e-commerce and the improvement of sales conversion rates. Paul was furthermore a member of the W.W. Grainger team responsible for building its current e-commerce operations ($1 billion per annum online in 2005), where he directed supplier accounts and operations process development working with organizations like Motorola, Igloo and Ingersoll-Rand. A licensed architect, Paul has led several organizations overseeing the management of such diverse assets as real estate development companies, manufacturing, hotels and trusts. Paul is currently an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University's MBA School of Business where he lectures on diverse topics from e-business management and operations, business architecture, and marketing. He received his B.S. in Architecture from the University of Southern California, his Masters in Architecture from the University of Illinois-Chicago and his Masters of Management (MBA) degree from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Gilmore Cabochan
Gilmore Cabochan comes to Landmark with a strong background in the life sciences and management sectors. He served previously as a Scientific Advisor for New York law firm Weitz & Luxenberg, where he worked on a number of trial teams for mass tort litigations and conducted scientific research on a wide variety of medical and scientific issues to prepare trial lawyers for depositions, motions, and trials. His background also includes extensive management experience, including a variety of fundraising and business development positions with the Phillips Brooks House Association and the Summer Urban Programs in Boston and Cambridge. At Landmark, Gilmore is responsible for client acquisition activities and strategic support across the Biomedical, Life Sciences and CleanTech Practices, in addition to involvement with Landmark's Investment Banking group. Gilmore graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a B.A. in Biology.

Yuval Esteron
Yuval is the Vice President of Landmark Ventures' operations in Israel. Prior to joining Landmark Yuval served as a corporate lawyer specializing in the high-tech group of one of Israel's most prestigious commercial law firms. Yuval brings with him broad experience in mergers & acquisitions and venture capital transactions, as well as advising commercial companies in all phases of corporate growth. Yuval has represented many of Israel's emerging and most prominent technological companies from a myriad of fields including IT, biotechnology, Internet, medical devices, software and communications. At Landmark Ventures Israel, in addition to overall strategizing, Yuval is responsible for identifying investment opportunities, maintaining deal flow and managing the deal sourcing process. Yuval is a certified lawyer of the Israeli Bar. He earned his law degree (L.L.B), graduating Cum Laude from the College of Management where he is currently completing his MBA with a concentration in International Management.

Lavi Erisson
Dr. Lavi Erisson comes to Landmark with a robust background in healthcare, business strategy and public policy. Previously, Lavi consulted to Teva Pharmaceuticals' Global Branded Products Business Development team; an executive interdisciplinary task-force responsible for strategic in-licensing of innovative opportunities. In this role Lavi assessed more than 150 mature business opportunities and took part in >10 DDs, resulting in >$150M worth of M&A activity. Lavi initiated and led a national virtual medical platform with the Ministry of Health and the BMJ group, and consulted, through the Hartog Institute, to Israel' ministry for foreign trade and Chief Scientist on R&D collaboration with emerging markets. Lavi holds an MD and a Masters Degree in Public Policy from Tel-Aviv University, Cum Laude.

Eli Greif
Eli is a merchant banking professional with more than seven years of financial advisory and investment experience spread across several industries. He is currently working as a Senior Associate in the Investment Banking practice of Landmark Ventures where he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, recapitalizations, restructurings, and fund placements. Prior to joining Landmark Ventures, Eli was an Associate at The Chesapeake Group, an international merchant bank, where he advised clients on investment banking transactions and made proprietary investments. His previous experience includes working as a Valuation Specialist at Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting and working as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Intel Corporation. He also spent time as a Legislative Aide to a United States Senator on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC and did an internship at Goldman Sachs & Co. Eli graduated as a Merit Scholar from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a B.S. in Business Finance.

John Haley
John Haley is a seasoned strategy development executive with over 20 years of professional experience, the majority focused on providing management consulting services to Fortune 500 companies. John began his career in the strategy practice at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) where he specialized in strategy development as well as planning and implementation. He later co-founded the strategy practice at the company that became Razorfish, initially leading the financial services strategy practice and eventually leading the national strategy discipline. As a client partner, he was also responsible for leading large client engagements across multiple phases and delivery disciplines including strategy, technology, process, user experience and change management. John continued at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a managing director serving in multiple national leadership roles, and most recently was a senior principal in the strategy practice of Oliver Wyman Group. Among his new venture credentials John can include multiple online banks, DealerTrack (NASDAQ:TRAK), WebALG (acquired by DealerTrack), a financial services market utility, and an accounting and impact measurement software company serving the nonprofit sector. Previously, John had a decorated military career, serving in various strategic and operations planning roles for the US Army. He attained the rank of Captain, was an Airborne Ranger and Senior Parachutist, and earned the Bronze Star for service with the 82nd Airborne Division during the first Gulf War. John received a BS with honors from West Point, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Mark Hamachek
Mark has a proven track record in business development, investment due diligence, sales, product management, and merger integration. He has collected critical experiences throughout his 10+ years within operations, investment and consulting in key roles with business services providers, software companies, venture capital/private equity funds, healthcare corporations, and consumer product organizations. Mark has guided several companies in structuring operations and building sales channels, managing the whole spectrum from operations and advisory through to investment. Previously, Mark was a Vice President with Mainsail Partners, providing guidance on sales and marketing strategic initiatives and financial budgeting, and Senior Manager of Integration for Corporate Development of Amazon.com, where he led the execution of several domestic and international transaction integrations, including Audible.com ($300MM public merger). Mark has also held senior roles with Guidant Corporation, Acclaro Growth Partners, and Markowitz & McNaughton, Inc. Mark received a B.A. in Geology from Williams College, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.

Sara Hames
Sara joins Landmark with a broad background in technology, marketing and event management with focused expertise in new media and creative writing. Prior to joining Landmark, Sara served as Communications and Content Advisor for the Australia-based start-up HR services company SydneyTalent, specializing in project management and developing creative marketing material covering the company’s conception through to its successful launch. Her prior professional experience has included public relations, sales and event coordination at venues such as the Jacob Javits Center, the not-for-profit Council on Accreditation, and Apple Computer. Sara volunteers in the field of education, is a certified ski instructor, and a 2004 recipient of the Richmond B. Williams Fellowship and associated grant. Her journalism, non-fiction and award-winning short fiction have been published internationally. She graduated with a BA in English and Art from Columbia University, and holds a Master of Creative Writing from the University of Sydney.

James Holzer
Jim has over 20 years of experience completing M&A and financing transactions for public, private and private equity/venture backed companies, including the last dozen years focused exclusively on the software and services industry. Throughout his career, Jim has completed over 80 transactions aggregating over $5 billion in value across a diverse range of industries. Most recently, Jim was the Head of the Software and Technology Services practice at Brown Brothers Harriman where he was responsible for originating and executing M&A and private equity transactions. Prior to this role, Jim served as the Managing Director for the IT, Software & Services Group at Berkery Noyes where he sourced M&A transactions across various software segments including enterprise applications and tech services. His extensive track record includes senior technology-focused M&A roles at large full-service firms including Executive Director of Technology M&A at CIBC World Markets and Director of Technology M&A at Prudential Securities, as well as Vice President of Corporate Finance at boutique investment bank Houlihan Lokey. Jim began his career as an Equity Research Analyst at EF Hutton (now part of Citigroup) where he covered the telecommunications industry. Jim graduated from Emory University with a B.A. in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Anthony Juliano
Anthony Juliano is a seasoned veteran of IT Operations and Technology Innovation. His professional history includes technology strategy, enterprise systems, network administration, and infrastructure/architecture operations for a variety of technology corporations. At Landmark, Anthony directs IT Operations and controls the firm's enterprise technology strategy. As a Landmark advisor, he's worked with more than 300 CIOs/CTOs from F500 Enterprises, and advised more than 50+ early-stage technology companies on strategic growth and execution. He takes a big picture approach to understanding the role of innovation in a rapidly changing landscape, leveraging a deep understanding of the dynamics between technical underpinnings, market demand, and enterprise operations.

Ralph Klein
Since the early 1990's, Ralph has been active as a technology visionary working with high-tech firms on product sales and market penetration across key vertical markets. Ralph Klein's background includes 30 years in the chemical and plastics industry focused on trading, distribution and management activities. Ralph worked with the largest international trading firms including positions as Director of Trading at ICC Corp., Director or International Sales at ICD Group and Managing Director of PlexChem (Hong Kong). As a member of the founding team of Landmark Ventures, Ralph is an active consultant and advisor for numerous high-tech companies on their management, operations, market strategy and Fortune 500 client development activities. Ralph has been involved as a Advisory Board member, consultant and shareholder for several technology companies including Appfluent, ChemConnect, Collation, G-Log, Ketera, IntraLinks, Ounce Labs, NetManage, Radware, PowerPaper, Preventsys and VFA.

Zeev Klein
Zeev Klein is part of the founding team of Landmark Ventures and responsible for business development, investment banking and venture capital investments working with a portfolio of early-stage technology companies.  Zeev gained experience working in the VC & Strategic Investment division of Chase Manhattan Bank (now JPMorgan), where he helped analyze and evaluate technology providers. He was the co-founder of a successful Chicago-based technology services company during the late 1990's, and has consulted for a number of enterprise software and network infrastructure firms on strategic development, financial and operational issues. Zeev founded and is actively involved with Landmark's corporate philanthropy program called Doing IT for Good, that connects senior executives at Fortune 500 companies with outstanding nonprofit organizations such as Year Up and NPower.  He graduated with a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and received his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

John Kunschner
John is Managing Director and a Senior Partner leading Landmark Ventures' Technology Investment Banking practice. He focuses on providing M&A, private placement and strategic advisory services to growth stage private and public companies across the technology, hardware/semiconductor, media, software and technology-enabled services markets. John leverages extensive relationships across the corporate, PE and VC communities, with a significant cross border focus spanning US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Israel. In his fifteen year career, John has successfully closed nearly 40 transactions with transaction value exceeding $5 Billion. Prior to joining Landmark, John was a Senior VP with Jefferies & Co, Inc. a leading global, full-service investment bank targeting middle-market and growth oriented companies. At Jefferies, he focused on M&A and Capital Markets transactions within the technology sectors, including lead coverage responsibility in the hardware, semiconductor / components and communications segments. John joined Jefferies as a VP from Broadview International, a leading technology M&A advisor, which was acquired by Jefferies in December 2003. Prior to Broadview, John was a Senior Associate with Robertson Stephens, focused on technology M&A, private placements and public equity transactions. John started his career with PwC Securities, providing M&A and private placement services to companies across the technology, industrial and consumer markets. John graduated from Brown University, with a BA in Business Economics.

Corey Luskin
Corey has nearly 20 years of experience building strong companies, both in investment banking and senior corporate development roles. He brings deep understanding and extensive relationships in the Information Services, Digital Media, Financial Services and Financial Technology sectors. Throughout his career, Corey has completed over 30 transactions valued at over $5 billion. Corey previously served as Managing Director at Garros Group, a boutique investment bank, where he worked with leading investors and growth companies in the Marketing Services and eCommerce sectors including WebLoyalty, LendingTree and Greenfield Online. He also held senior strategy roles at two public companies. At Innodata, a global outsourcer serving media and publishing companies, he led corporate development and evaluated strategic investments in the information services and digital media space. At Bisys, a leading provider of outsourced services to financial institutions, he led numerous acquisitions in the company's insurance distribution segment. Earlier in his career, Corey worked at Wasserstein Perella (and its successor firm Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein) and Smith Barney. In these positions, he focused on M&A in the Insurance, Brokerage and FinTech sectors and completed transactions with Merrill Lynch, Nasdaq and MetLife among many others. Corey graduated from the University of Michigan with High Honors in Economics and received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Michael Mandel
Michael is a Managing Director in Landmark Ventures' Healthcare Investment Banking practice. Michael focuses on providing M&A, private placement and strategic advisory services to growth stage private and public companies across the healthcare/medical technology sectors. Throughout his 15 year investment banking career, Michael has successfully closed over 60 transactions for private as well as large and small/mid cap companies with total transaction value exceeding $24 Billion. Prior to joining Landmark, Michael was a Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at BMO Capital Markets, a leading global, full-service investment bank targeting middle-market and growth oriented companies. At BMO, he was responsible for originating and executing financing and M&A transactions for medical technology companies across numerous sub-sectors. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Vice President at Banc of America Securities, a leading global full-service investment bank, where he focused on financing and M&A transactions for medical technology companies. Michael began his investment banking career as an associate in the healthcare investment banking group at PaineWebber Inc., where he focused on companies across the healthcare spectrum including medical technology, biotechnology and healthcare services. Michael graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) and received his MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.

Hamish Russell
Hamish joins Landmark with an array of experience in marketing, media advertising sales and fundraising. Before coming to Landmark, Hamish served in the media industry at Turner Broadcasting, Inc., where he specialized in brand integration as well as client relationships and sales management. Prior to that, he held a variety of positions within Duke University, including recruitment chair and board member of the SOFC. Hamish graduated from Duke with a BS in Economics and a Certificate in Markets and Management. During his tenure at Duke, he participated in the Temple University study abroad program at their Rome campus, focused upon Marketing and International Business in the EU, as well as Global Strategic Management. During this period he was invited to attend the Education Without Borders 2007 summit in Abu Dhabi where he met with philanthropists, political leaders, and technology experts in order to discuss how to leverage technology to help poor and disadvantaged regions build educational infrastructure.

Roberta SaintAmour
Roberta is an investment banking professional with more than 4 years of financial advisory and investment experience spread across several industries. She is currently working as an Associate in the Investment Banking practice of Landmark Ventures where she advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, recapitalizations, restructurings, and fund placements. Prior to joining Landmark Ventures, Roberta was a Senior Investment Associate at Forefront Advisory, working on a Global ETF Strategies Fund. Additionally, she worked as an investment banking analyst at Gruppo, Levey & Co and Bear Stearns & Co. Roberta received a B.A in International Relations and Economics from Wellesley College. back to top

Eric Sugar
Eric Sugar comes to Landmark with a unique background including experience with emerging technology in the life sciences and biotech industries. Eric's career history includes technical and biomedical experience while working in the Exploratory Research division of Baxter Healthcare, where he was responsible for blood-protein isolation and phage library generation. Subsequently, Eric served as a Scientific Advisor for Weitz & Luxenberg, a prestigious high-stakes New York law firm where he specialized in Drug and Medical Device Litigation, specifically addressing issues related to COX-2 inhibition and cardiovascular events. Eric also did research in the Hearing and Balance Laboratory of the Washington University School of Medicine and abroad at University College London. At Landmark, Eric is responsible for new client acquisition activities, as well as supporting executive relationships across a broad spectrum of Fortune 500 corporations. Eric graduated with honors from Washington University in St. Louis' pre-medical program with a B.S. in Biology.

Paul Teitelbaum
Paul has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry encompassing investment banking, pharmaceutical operating roles and consulting. He has executed numerous strategic transactions and financings totaling nearly $2 billion for a broad array of middle market and emerging growth companies in the life sciences, medical technology and healthcare services sectors. Prior to Landmark, he served as Associate Managing Director of Healthcare Corporate Finance at Burnham Securities Inc. (a successor of Drexel Burnham Lambert), and Managing Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Glocap Advisors, from which several key professionals moved to Burnham. At Burnham and Glocap, he originated and led execution of financings and M&A transactions for a range of medical device, biotech and healthcare IT companies. Previously, he was a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Cascadia Capital, where he opened and ran the New York office and led Cascadia’s nationwide healthcare origination and execution efforts. He also co-founded and served as a senior banker at Nexus Health Capital, a boutique healthcare investment bank with a world-renowned advisory board, and was a Senior Associate at Robertson Stephens & Company and Salomon Brothers Inc. Prior to investment banking, Paul ran a disease management informatics and finance/contracting group at Schering-Plough Corporation, and worked in corporate development and sales at Wyeth-Lederle Laboratories (now Pfizer, Inc.). Paul also worked in health care and environmental consulting at ICF International Inc., where he advised clients including Fortune 500 companies, the FDA and EPA, and performed genetic research at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. He received a BA in biology and chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Daniel Towbin
Daniel Towbin comes to Landmark with a strong business background and experience across the consulting and finance arenas. In previous years, Daniel served as executive board member at Wolverine Finance and Investment, and also directed a team of eight as a Supervisor with the Town of Greenburgh, New York. At Landmark, Daniel is responsible for client acquisition activities, as well as supporting executive relationships across a broad spectrum of the Fortune 500, in addition to involvement with Landmark's Investment Banking practice. Daniel graduated With Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Business Administration; he supplemented his Finance Concentration with courses in Economics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Operations Management.

Scott Zakheim
Scott comes to Landmark with five years of professional strategic consulting, communications and stakeholder relations experience. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a strategic communications consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, primarily focused on strategic development, client stakeholder relations strategy, media relations campaigns, communication and various stakeholder outreach projects for major governmental clients including the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense. His additional experience includes directing the internal communications practice of Howrey LLP, and leading sustainable marketing efforts for Dannon Yogurt. Scott holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business; while at Smith he worked within the Net Impact Student Group, the Smith/United Bank Leadership Development Program, and the School's Center for Social Value Creation. Scott also participated in Smith's Social Venture Consulting program, leading a strategic planning effort for Fathers and Families of San Joaquin, a nonprofit organization in Stockton, CA. In his spare time Scott leads annual fund-raising efforts for the St. Baldrick's foundation, a worldwide non-profit dedicated to eradicating youth cancer. Scott holds a BA from Columbia University.
